I never felt the car-buying-anxiety with these guys. The Sales Manager, Russ Compton, is seriously a wholesome guy. There is no wonder there is little turn-over in staff here. It’s run right!
Purchased my new-to-me truck this past Tuesday. Worked with Terence Brown and he was a great sales rep. He provided everything I could have asked for: quick, attentive, kept me in the loop on timing while I was waiting for my buyers order, provided drinks and offered snacks. I wouldn't hesitate to come back in the future and will definitely seek out Terence if I do.
I've never been so uncomfortable at a dealership before. I respect wanting to make money and wanting to make sales, but there is a limit where you try a few angles and where you harass a customer.
Been buying for over a decade with them, and I hope to keep going back.
However, I did have a huge issue with the blonde woman from the finance department who asked to speak to me to go over my information.
I've had good service and not so great service. The prices are very high, but you are getting Honda parts. Nice staff. The drivers who drive and pick you up are great. Loved them.
The absolute best car buying experience we have ever had! Terrence Brown was our sales associate and he was phenomenal! l!He was patient' knowledgeable and so personable . Not once did we feel pressured. Financing was a breeze and every step of the way was explained by both Terrence and Brian; the finance person. This was a quick and easy experience. Fantastic experience from start to finish! We just picked up our stealth black 2018 Honda Civic hatchback from Honda Cars of Rock Hill. We had leather added from their aftermarket provider and they did amazing work. It totally transformed the interior of the car. Bruce Rudd and Sam "Tiny" Carr worked as a team to provide us with exceptional service. They kept in constant contact with us and were very transparent during the negotiating process. We would Rec. She asked me SEVEN times to finance with them when I had already told Terence that I was using Founders. I do understand, the company makes more money by in-house financing. That's fine. Ask me once, twice, maybe three times. But she asked me SEVEN TIMES. First it was "we can match your interest rate". Then it was "we can make it so you can have the payments drafted out of your check". Then it was "if you default from a bank they can shut your account off and we wouldn't do that" - I mean seriously? You're going to bring up defaulting on a loan that you're offering me and imply it's OK to do that through Honda's financing? She kept repeating the exact same sentence "why is Founders your preference." BECAUSE IT IS. The last time she asked me, I just stared at her. I didn't have anything else to respond with.
For the record to Honda - I didn't get or care to remember her name. She was the "new" woman from Florida.
I don’t know why I ever car-shop in Charlotte... as I keep coming back to Honda Rock Hill. I got a very fair offer for CRV trade-in... probably better than I want to admit and a very pleasing price on Pilot.

Once she gave up, she decided to start asking "When are you going to be back with our check?" How professional.
I felt like I was being harassed, to the point where I would have gotten up and left immediately if she asked me one more time. The vehicle was a used Dodge Ram, so I wouldn't have gotten that exact truck anywhere else. I would have been willing to let it go just to get away from her.
