Pep Boys of Rock Hill reached out to me about the review but have not called back... same exact thing that happened before, another manager ignoring responsibility. They will break your vehicle and will lie over and over again while showing you proof they broke it, do not trust this place!
Secondly- I brought my truck into the location because I needed my tire patched and figured while it's in I might as well have the oil changed. While I was somewhat satisfied with the time it took to complete the services. I am now very upset at the fact that I had bought my own oil and just realized when I cleaned out my truck the leftover oil container I had been given back. The oil bottle had 2 quarts to much in it. Meaning out of the 2 bottles equaling 10 quarts only 6.5 quarts had been used. My truck takes 8.5 quarts. I immediately looked for my paperwork to get the number to call and see they didn't even have my vehicle correct on the paperwork.
I have no idea why this location has poor reviews. I called in earlier today to ask about coming 50 minutes before close for an oil change, they said that would be no problem, and I didn’t have to make an appointment. When I got there Tony greeted me immediately and let me know what the process would be, how long it would take, and offered to rotate my tires. The process only took about 30-40 minutes on such short notice. This was my first time at a Pep Boys, it is definitely going to be where I go for all my car needs now. Tony helped me out, while making me not feel as clueless as I truly am.
I've had pretty good service here. Had to take my 87 F150 in for repair and they worked with me on getting it back on the road. Excellent place for buying parts (brakes, tools, etc.) Sign up for their Rewards program online and you'll get coupons in the mail to help save you money.

Dropped something in my transmission and even after pulling out metal shards, they lied about it.... broke my vehicle and nothing was ever done to fix it, f#@$ this place. If you go here be prepared to have your vehicle broken for them to just tell you that something else is wrong. Unless you point out they broke it then they'll just lie about it. These guys must be on drugs.
Well I definitely wouldn't give more than one star. Started with the service writer being very inexperienced. I understand he was probably new. But when you put someone on the counter that doesn't know anything you need to at least have someone there to assist him/show him the way to make a work order correctly.
