Had a really bad experience and left. It was so bad I messaged management. Within 2 days my phone rang and my meals were replaced with a sincere apology. When I went back to the place the next week, to my surprise it was a totally different and superb meal. Thank you for caring GC managers
More like a 3.5, but new smokehouse stuff is not very good. Not slowed cooked, at all, and not even very smokey. Ribs were very tough. Brisket had good flavor, but a tough. Pulled pork ok. Usual stuff is usually good there. Not worth the extra price though.
Was there 6/30/17. I got BBQ ribs and a steak, baked potato, salad. The ribs were all fat and gristle, I chewed a piece of steak for 5 min. and still could not eat it. Put butter on potato and still not melted 20 min. later. Ranch dressing for salad was grainy. Worst meal I have ever had....or not had since it was inedible. So ended up paying for a meal that I literally did not eat. The only good thing was the sweet tea. Management needs to go to the one in Gastonia and learn what decent food is.
I am disappointed in the lunch buffet menu, though, because there's not a lot for me to choose from. Mainly just starch items for me. Wish there was more. However, there's plenty for me for dinner time.
Good atmosphere good food nice place to go
Since I'm vegan, I like going here with family because everyone is happy and gets to eat what they wanna eat without any complications.
