We got to this hotel later at night. The check in was simple and easy, they had one king room left. The room was mostly clean, some Hairs in the bathroom. The bed was large as was the room since it was handicap accessible. However it was very uncomfortable. Good for one night stay passing through.
This hotel was just what we needed. Complimentary breakfast was good, plenty of options. Didn't stay long enough to check out other amenities. Firm beds, plenty of channels to chose from. Right on Dave Lyle so stores & restaurants aplenty & right off 77.
We had our pup with us and we found out that they are pet friendly. So for a small fee, she got to sleep in the room with us. The hotel was so clean you could not tell that they were pet friendly. No smells, no stains. We’ll stay there again when we are in the area.
The front desk ladies were very polite and professional. We booked thru Expedia so the price was good. The room was clean, the beds were so comfortable. We are moving to another state and was so tired. So we really appreciate that the front desk ladies took care of everything!
The Wingate in Rock Hill SC is a good hotel beginning to show It's age but still in comfortable condition and clean. The staff was excellent and friendly. We really enjoyed our one night stay.

For a two night stay during the holiday, a 3 star rating is appropriate. At check in we were questioned how we got such a cheap rate on the room and where almost charged twice for the room. The front desk customer service was poor but the breakfast bar was nice. The customer service there was pretty good and she was very helpful. The room was basically clean but we could see an obvious stain in the rug which was not cool at all. More about the room...it was handicap accessible. It is great that option is available for those who need it but we didn't. This made things in the bathroom uncomfortable and awkward. Would we stay again? Probably not.
