Will be cancelling my membership because of the shady policy standards used. I was told many times that I could cancel my membership because i was out of term. Great. Drive down there multiple times because only 1 person on staff can cancel accounts even though they have 6 people who can make them. Finally get ahold of the woman to be told it was all "misinformed information" and that I would have to pay to get out of my contract or stay in it. I haven't even stepped foot in their gym in a year.
PS. DEAR SAMANTHA: YOUR HAPPY DEMEANOR DOESNT HIDE THE LACK OF HELP ON YOUR PART OR THE STAFF.
Great place to workout and play basketball etc. There are yoga classes and personal training along with other classes like bicycle class etc.
Very nice LA Fitness! Newer equipment, stretching area is nice and secluded, not overcrowded and the locker rooms are so nice and clean smelling! Most LA fitness front desk people just ignore you, but here she says hello when you come in!
I was told inaccurate information regarding gym membership when I originally joined LA Fitness. They later acknowledged that the information was wrong, but were unable to reimburse me for asking to end my contract due to the false information that they told me. I payed upfront for something and didn't receive what I payed for. I don't play with my money and as a business owner I don't play with my customers money. I also honor what I say. :(
Save yourself the money and run at home or just flush your money down the toliet. You get the same outcome.
I'll be giving them their "buy out" which is what they call ending your contract early, and they can abuse someone else's wallet.
This gym is great! They have a great staff and great equipment! I found a new love for working out by getting a membership here!
