Today was a very special day for my daughter. She was getting her very first pointe shoes (a rite of passage for any ballerina). When we walked into the store, we were greeted like we were friends. Anita, who was so knowledgable and certified in fitting for pointe, was like a second mother to my daughter as she realized what a special, important day this was for her. She spent so much time with us and gave my daughter such great advice and pointers. This is the only place we will ever buy shoes and dance wear (which is very reasonably priced).
Feet [hands] down one of the best experiences I have ever had buying boots. They really know what they are doing here. They are almost too helpful. They are so helpful that you kind of feel guilty about how helpful they are like you are unworthy of it or something. You leave with a mental mono log that goes something like "what have I done that is so damn important with my life that someone would treat me with that level of attentive care, I'm not Donald Trump, I'm just a regular ass person".
Absolutely disgusted with the lack of customer service. I actually planned on purchasing some shoes from this location and am actually upset that I cant get what I needed because of principal. I walked into this store on Cherry Rd near Big Lots, and was NEVER addressed. There were two workers and one other customer, they were all having a conversation and they all looked right at me and said nothing, no hello, how are you, let me know if you need some help, can I be of assistance, what can I help you find or HI. NOTHING. A few minutes after I was in the store looking at the shoes another customer came in and went straight to the back then I hear the worker that I walked right passed helping her... I was so upset and disgusted I left without saying one word. I may think about going to a different location to see if I get the same lack of reception. I feel like this was either Race related or Religion related... I am both not Caucasian and am Muslim, neither of which should matter where customer service is involved. Horrible way to run a business.
I'll go here every time I need something for my daughter's dance performances. Every....single....time. The staff has gone above and beyond to help me with an issue I had with one of my daughter's costumes, and every time we go in there we get nothing but attentive and knowledgeable service. I can't imagine going to any other store for what I need for dance items. Thanks for being such a great store!
The staff is among the most knowledgeable I have ever met. The only rivals being people who specialize in running shoes, shoe repair places and the occasional REI worker who didn't smoke hemp products while listening to REM before going to work. As an Eagle Scout who has hiked and backpacked well over 5,000 miles I can honestly say these people are the best I have run into so far. They also have something in stock for EVERY shoe related need except 8 inch high heels for people who... never mind I won't tell you all about my night job.
I have purchased many things from this store and they are always good quality as well as eye catching. So many things here give you a unique look that you won't find in every store. I found some cowboy boots that I absolutely love! James, the manager, took a lot of time to patiently help me pick them out so that I would have exactly what I wanted. I've never had a bad experience here!
I do have one suggestion for how they can improve. I wish they would have a gold plated hot tub with a water slide that slides through a shark tank at their location. Kind of like the one that is at the Gold Nugget in Old Las Vegas but its a gold plated hot tub not just a regular boring pool with a water slide that goes through as shark tank. They could also have a full service poolside, i mean hot-tub-side, bar. Wouldn't it be nice to sit in a hot tub and have a martini while staring at sharks before buying steel toe work boots?
