Very nice park with playground and trails.. maybe not best for biking but good for kids walking or jogging.. and they have restrooms and sometimes concessions (if soccer games are going on)
First off, I'm speaking from a walking/jogging perspective. We don't use the fields. That said, the facilities look fresh and well-kept as we pass by. The bathrooms are VERY well maintained, and the setup itself is really functional for a multitude of purposes. Unfortunately, we're too scared to walk here, in the winter, because the sidewalks--ESPECIALLY near the woods--are so terribly lit. Especially having seen zero emergency call boxes, walking here in the winter (when the sun sets early) is very unnerving. Like I said, the rest of the complex is great...but please install more/better lighting for people using the walking areas.
Great place lots of kids playing running around. They have nice soccer fields and a walking track a little over 1 mile in length. They do a great job keeping it clean and is very welcome. I go here daily
Beautiful park featuring plenty of soccer fields, a nice playground and a pretty pond to walk around. They also have a nice recreation area for grilling out with bathrooms.
Manchester Meadows is a beautiful, well kept soccer park with concessions during large soccer events, a small playground, rental and non rental space for picnics or cookouts, and nice walking trails. I love the park because of the large, open walking trail around the entire park which consist of beautiful landscaped, manicured views and a pond. Security is very visible around the park area as well, making walkers and runners feel safe. The park also has very clean restrooms for visitors/ guests.
There are two things I do not like about the park: smokers and pet owners who are not respectful of shared space. If the park is smoke free, which all parks should be, a fine should be imposed upon violaters, and upon dog owners who refuse or are too lazy to use bags provided by the park to clean after their pets. If it wasn't for these issues, I would definitely rate the park as a 5 star for people who are looking for a place to relax with family or for people who want to walk or run in a safe area. This park is not for people who are looking to swim, fish, camp, or use their boat. It is primarly a sports park for soccer games with extra features like a playground, picnic areas, and walking trails. The park is also situated in a great location in Rock Hill. It is close to or within walking distance to many popular restaurants, hotels, and shopping centers.
