Drs are very personable, great bed side manner, don’t give out antibiotics for no reason. Which is good. They listen and don’t have u in the facility all day, it’s very upscale and technology led check in
I have been twice with my dad who has Alzheimers and they handled him beautifully.
Staff is great, however Dr. Valerie, was an absolute joke this morning. We arrived with my son who unfortunately gets a severe sinus infections every fall and spring which unfortunately requires antibiotics to treat. On this arrival, which happened on a Sunday morning, my son was in the normal sore throat, hacking cough, fever, aches, pains, plugged ear for this time of the season. Dr. Valerie comes in verifies the symptoms and says our policy is not to treat but to basically monitor the situation for 10days then call back. In the meantime take Motrin 800 mg. Again, we state that this happens every year and the only thing that will help is the antibiotics, and she said, get this, “You can just walk in here and demand medication”. So let me get this straight. I come to a hospital for the same issue we deal with twice a year, and I am told by a quack of a doctor who does NOT listen to facts, that basically I monitor sickness I don’t treat it. My wife is in tears, now I have to go to my regular doctor and receive yet another bill to receive treatment from a real doctor who listens, appreciates, and actually treats a person like they are not their next mortgage payment donor.
Shameful Dr. Valerie, absolutely shameful. As a young doctor I know you still have much to learn, we don’t go to an urgent care for fun on a Sunday morning. We go there to get treatment, not to be told we are idiots now move along no because it’s policy. I did feel bad however telling the staff, you know if your policy says we don’t treat but monitor, you might want to post that and say try google first you’ll get the same treatment from Dr. Valerie.
I saw MALLORY NEFF (PA) December 3rd with an ankle injury. She kept calling it a foot injury And only took xrays of my foot. Diagnosed me with a foot contusion. I kept telling her it was my ankle. She asked if i "knew the difference between the ankle and foot." Which I obviously do. She told me the xray also showed my ankle. Which it didn't. She tried to put me in a "shoe" and when I asked for an ace bandage because it was for my ankle she got visibly irritated. Yesterday ortho carolina has confirmed a Nondisplaced posterior mouth fracture And or posterior tibial tendon rupture. I'm waiting to get an MRI. If MALLORY NEFF took the time to listen and care for her patient she could of possible prevented me from further hurting myself. As now I'm in a full tall boot with crutches total non weight baring. I would give her minus stars if I could. Terrible physician assistant.
Waited 3 hours for a doctor to be told nothing is wrong except a virus. I’m coughing up green mucus and chest is on fire. He refused to treat me. Do not waste your time.
