Good but gets edged out by Publix.
Usually I do not write reviews, but for a place that sells food, this store is rather disgusting and should be visited by the health department.
Good selections, great service, friendly staff. I've tried less expensive stores but I keep coming back to Harris Teeter. NO BAGGY PANTS ON STAFF! Store is clean & customer service is great!
I have taken one of the managers around to point out these areas of rotting fruit/vegetables and flies in the salad bar. When I told him that the Harris Teeter in South Park was nothing like this..he stated that it was their Flagship store..now why wouldn't you want to mirror your Flagship store?
I love this place. Pizza by the slice, subs made to order with daily specials (and sub club, accumulated points for each sub you buy, 15 points and a free foot long), salad and olive bars. Great choice of cheeses, cut to order, beautiful flowers, great seafood (lobster tails were $3.97 each today) Dry cured Angus beef. A little pricey, but their selection is incredible. Cheaper than Publix, higher than Food Lion.
The fresh produce is literally rotting on the shelves and the bagged produce is expired or within a day of expiring
When I have consumed the seafood it has made me ill
They are slow on restocking items that do sell.
Obviously people that give this place good reviews do not have other options.
