While my old review down below still stands my current views have changed. I have been coming to Nichols ever since they became a big name. My family knew the store when it was literally a shack. It is out of my way to travel here but I will do it over any other store in a heartbeat. Staff is amazing and they know there regulars on a first name basis. When selling your firearms I guarantee that they will give you the most for your trade/sale. Selection of items is absolutely incredible and prices are what you would see everywhere else. Fun selection is second to none and you will find what you are looking for. I love Nichols and will continue to do business with them.
Great selection....BUT..was in store for 45 mins.....never got a hello,may I help you or anything...left went to another store and spent my money there...
We ordered 2 safes that were very worth the long wait. On delivery day Jonathan and his team were very professional. They moved these big heavy safes into a not so easy house with such ease. We were very impressed at the meticulous instructions Jonathan used with his team as to ensure that nothing was damaged.
I went in to pick up my rifle and the barrel nut was completely stripped, apparently they did not have the right tools to do what I asked so therefore they attempted it with a pair of pliers and I quote "two 300lbs guys bearing down on it" this is unacceptable and it eventually led to my upper cracking.
Clean restrooms. Easily seen from the road. Wheelchair accessible. If you've never been there, then you should go.
Old: I brought in my brand new AR to remove a handguard and other work so that I can customize it. So left it for removal. It stayed there for a week, I called to ask if it was finished. I was told that it had been worked on 3 days earlier and they couldn't fix it.
They have just about everything you need plus it's always great to help support our local small businesses. And don't let the small business fool you! :-)
My family and I love going to Nichols. They have any and everything you could possibly want for any and all sporting activities. Very clean store, comfortable atmosphere, friendly and helpful service. Huge array of choices in all catagories. Top of the line, items, great prices.They have a grill inside the store, very clean with good food.
