The franchise establishment is based on that from what I recollect, but all in all it was better than most of my experiences with this franchise
Was here this past Sunday. The waitress was attentive and checked up on me every now and then. I did ask to sit outside and was the only one out there, it would have been nice to have had a little more engagement, small talk in between ordering and when the food came.
As odd as this may sound, I love their seafood!!! I went to New Orleans a couple years ago on a business trip and a few hours before I needed to go to the airport I wanted to get some oysters, since I was right there at the coast. I went to a local establishment "known for their oysters" and the third one was rancid. They refunded my money and as soon as my plane touched down, I Google'd "oysters" with my city name and Hooter's was one of the first options. I called, they said they had them, so I went straight from the airport to Hooter's! I had never been to Hooter's in my life! I was so impressed with the flavor, texture, and price, I've been back numerous times and have expanded my seafood repertoire to include shrimp and crab legs! Their boneless smoked wings are fantastic, as well! I love the laid back atmosphere and everyone has always been super nice. Pleasant surprise, and my tummy is happy!
Generally not bad but lately been sliding down hill. Tonight was too much. They ran out of their smoked wings that are advertised everywhere in the restaurant. Now I understand sometimes demand exceeds expectations but you would expect on a College Bowl weekend you wouldn't run out before the games even start
Food was good but service not so good. My waitress was Kendall. I think she could have been a better waitress if she didn't have company while on the job. Most of her service went to the guys outside that was evidently her friends. I hate to leave a bad report but good service is everything to a successful business and a successful waitress. I normally tip well but not tonight.
Really good fish and (no seasoning) chips. Pleasant service. Gotta go again to try the crab legs.
